Info

London duo Shelf Lives’ new EP ‘You Okay?’ comes exclusively pressed to multi-splatter LP via Blood Records, limited to 300 copies and hand-numbered to order. The body of work comprises of seven tracks and takes aim at consumerism and navigating stereotypes, among many other modern day societal flaws, as the pair's deft songwriting comes to the fore, whilst sonically they exhibit their now quintessential brand of abrasive yet contagious electro punk and execute it effortlessly. It's been a whirlwind few months for the scintillating duo who have recently played to packed out rooms at The Great Escape Festival, FOCUS Wales and Liverpool Sound City, as well as two storming sets at this year's Glastonbury Festival. Earlier this summer they released 'Off The Rails' - an ode to the modern day mindset hooked on capitalism despite being fully aware of its consequences, the song's sonic footprints are frenzied and frantic, bursting with a palpable energy as it showcases persistent earworm qualities that will keep your finger firmly placed on the repeat button.
