Jacob Alon releases his Mercury-nominated, Dan Carey produced album ‘In Limerence’ pressed exclusively to green and yellow LP with white splatter, limited to 350 copies and hand-numbered to order.

Alon crashed with Carey while working on new music, of which an overarching theme will be limerence: the state of intense romantic longing for someone who often does not reciprocate. Those who have experienced limerence will know it can lead to obsessive thoughts – an infatuation that overlooks any flaws or, indeed, turns those flaws into an attractive trait. The album is precious, haunting and soul bearing with shades of both Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake. Jacob Alon redefines contemporary folk with their debut album, In Limerence. Featuring the acclaimed singles’ Fairy In A Bottle’, ‘Confession’, and ‘Liquid Gold 25’, the Dan Carey-produced record weaves poetic storytelling with ghostly vocals and intricate guitar work.
