CloseUp, Blood Records, Flying Vinyl & Friends present ‘What’s Going On?’ a compilation LP filled with exclusive tracks from a collaboration of artists aimed at supporting The Music Venue Trust's 'Save Our Venues' campaign. We live in troubling times and a number of small music venues face grave threat of closure. More than 800 independent venues across the UK have been closed for a number of months and now face incredibly uncertain times as social distancing rules will continue to disrupt businesses.
In an effort to publicise and procure some extra funding for the Music Venues Trust’s ‘Save Our Venues’ campaign, Close Up, Blood records, Flying Vinyl & Friends are set to produce this very special, limited edition, turquoise compilation LP. The record features B-sides, demos, remixes & more from some of the UK’s most reputable indie/electronic artists. Profits will be shared between MVT (90% of profits), and musically-aligned, BAME supporting mental health outfits via LIFE (10% of all profits).
