Courtney Barnett x Blood Records

This week we launched a campaign in collaboration with Australia's Courtney Barnett. After a brief international solo tour at the start of the year, Courtney, like the rest of us, has been in isolation since returning home. She instead used 2020 year as a year to write music and a break from what has been an incredibly fast-paced life since her 2015 breakthrough debut Depression.

Rounding off the year with the announcement of a livestream performance of “From Where I’m Standing: Live from the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne”. Joined by bass player 'Bones' Sloane, drummer Dave Mudie and cellist Lucy Waldron the concert was filmed at The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, Australia, a World Heritage listed building built by David Mitchell, the father of soprano Dame Nellie Melba

The Blood Records release of this exclusive live LP is being pressed to cream vinyl, limited to 1,000 copies and sold out on it’s first day of release. The set includes a string of previous material, new covers and some of the fruits of a year spent writing.
